ABOUT YOGOJA

Thinking in retrospect, my hometown Berlin offered me great freedom and out of norm crazy impulses during my adolescence. From an early age, I experienced how strong good moments are and enjoyed thrilling times with inspiring people and breathtaking nature. While travelling, various people out there have shown me pure joy of life and kindness, unimaginably. Along the way, my attention was brought to balance, vibes and energy. I couldn’t believe what things exist in the world. Things which are no things.
My journey brought me to Australia. Living in the Australian bush, I realised how stuck we are in life sometimes. Pressure, stress and negative thoughts that can manifest illnesses and unhappiness. But what for? Expectations of society can be put aside. Nobody needs them. Walls in our heads – nobody wants them!
Designed: yoga mats & recycling fashion.
With that in mind, my idea was to design an object that would add value to people’s life. It sparked the concept of bringing beauty in a product that would be cherished in moments of meditation and relaxation. With the new knowledge of colour therapy, I created unique yoga mat designs as a gentle motivation for its users.
A few years later the importance of recycling got more and more priority. After living in New Zealand, my girlfriend at the time had the lovely idea to tie dye our old working shirts. I loved the whole process and started looking for a sustainable way to provide eco-friendly tie dye fashion. Et voilà: clothing made from plastic bottles! Since then, I am also designing recycling fashion.
A Life in Balance
YOGOJA is created to bring balance into our life by inspiring a conscious and sustainable lifestyle. Unique yoga mat designs emerge from colour therapy, mandalas and symmetrical patterns to evoking healing relaxation. These impacts effect body, mind & soul in a harmonizing way.
But how can we live in balance if our environment is threatened and people are experiencing wrong working conditions? Recycling fashion made of plastic bottles is an answer. Every piece is hand-crafted with natural textile colours – no substances are used that could harm human or environment.
FREE-FLOWING
Free-Flowing is an appeal to free from the walls in our heads and letting go. So that we can allow ourselves to feel the flow, go with it.
Our inner balance strong, the thoughts clear, we live more aware, relaxed and stronger.
Without fear and prejudices we become amazing.
Now we are Free-Flowing (a secret of happiness).
The Flow
The flow describes a state of complete absorption into an activity with full enjoyment, pure energy and concentration. Everything ‘flows’ inside us.
In this ecstatic and blissful state, the sense of self and worries disappear leaving room for growth, productivity and vision.
